I will overwhelm 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
